Vine Investing Strategy
Looking at the market conditions post-Lehman, many
investors and fund managers have had difficulties in determining the correct
approach to investing for the next year, let alone the next decade. The changing landscape puts into question
many of the old adages of the investment world that have gained popularity over
the past 30 years. (Buy and hold, move towards fixed income later in life, etc.). This site believes in the notion that these beliefs
will come into question and eventually have to be abandoned by the investment
community. This is not to say that these
strategies will not produce long term gains going forward, but investing has a
new set of risks and rewards that will present themselves and the investor must be prepared for the opportunities and risks they present.
